I recently purchased my very first Blythe Doll recently, she's a Takara 12" Blythe Petit de'jeuner Champs Elysee. My daughter named her Melanie and I think her name suits her very well. I wanted to learn sewing and make more pretty dresses for my blythe doll. I hope this will be my long term hobby since I recently started to use my sewing machine again. After many failed attempts I finally made my very first party dress successfully using this adorable kitty fabric pattern. The party dress pattern can be found here:
I had to tweak this pattern a bit, the bodice of the pattern that I first used in is small so I had to draw my own bodice. I will try to give you a full tutorial of my version and clearly explanation in the future.
I hope to get good at sewing as time progress. I recently got this Dolly Dolly Book tutorial book that comes with few outfit patterns for me to sew. Some of the outfits seems complicated to sew but I hope to learn it as the time goes by.
